1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Chef mobile application ("App"), developed by Martins Svikkalns ("Developer"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Use of License

Chef grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use strictly in accordance with these Terms.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The recipes, cooking guides, and shopping lists generated by Chef are created using Artificial Intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. You agree that:

  • You should verify critical information (such as cooking times, temperatures, and ingredient safety) before use.
  • We are not responsible for any failed recipes, food waste, or other outcomes resulting from the use of generated content.
  • You are responsible for adhering to basic food safety guidelines.

4. Subscriptions and Pricing

Chef offers both free and paid features (Freemium model). Optional premium subscriptions may be available for purchase. Prices and features are subject to change. Managing directly through your Apple ID or Google Play account.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the Developer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. Rights to the original video content used to generate recipes remain with their respective creators.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Latvia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
