Martins Svikkalns ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Chef mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our app. We operate under the laws of Latvia.

Video Data: When you submit a video URL for processing, we collect that URL to generate your recipe. This data is not linked to any personal user profile as we do not require account creation.

Usage Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous information about how you use the app (e.g., features used, session duration) to help us improve the experience.

Generated Content: Recipes generated by the app are stored on our servers (Firebase Firestore) to allow you to access them. These are stored anonymously.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the core functionality of converting videos to recipes.
  • To analyze and improve our app's performance and stability.
  • To process your subscription payments (if applicable) via standard app store providers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party AI services to process video content and text. Video URLs and related metadata may be sent to these providers solely for the purpose of generating recipe content. We also use Google Firebase for hosting, database, and analytics services.

5. Pricing and Payments

Chef operates on a "freemium" model. The app is free to download and use with limited features. An optional subscription is available to unlock premium features. Payments are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), and we do not store your financial information.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold. Since we do not collect personal accounts, most data is anonymous. However, if you have specific concerns, contact us.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
